Ratan Tata, a luminary in the world of industry, received a ceremonial guard of honor from the Mumbai Police as his mortal remains were transported to a Worli crematorium. The ceremony took place on Thursday evening.

Prominent figures, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, were in attendance to pay respects at the central Mumbai site.

Amit Shah expressed his condolences, reflecting on Tata's impact on India, stating, "Tata Ji's legacy of integrity and patriotism will forever guide the industrial sector." His influential leadership of the Tata Group was globally recognized, as was his commitment to social betterment through Tata Trusts.
