Vishnudas Chapke, a former journalist, realized his dream of circumnavigating the globe thanks to the philanthropy of Ratan Tata. Despite financial struggles, Tata's assistance through Tata Trusts enabled Chapke to travel across 35 countries, fulfilling his aspiration and highlighting the impactful legacy of Ratan Tata.

Vishnudas Chapke, a former journalist, embarked on an ambitious journey to travel around the world in 2016, fueled by crowdfunding. However, financial constraints threatened to derail his dream until a lifeline from Ratan Tata allowed him to continue his travels.

Thursday saw Chapke express deep gratitude towards Tata, recounting how support from Tata Trusts reinvigorated his morale while he was stranded in Chile. Chapke, one of many whose lives were touched by Tata's benevolence, navigated across 35 countries, relying fundamentally on this aid amidst his constrained resources.

Upon completing his circumnavigation in 2019, Chapke attempted to express his thankfulness to Tata personally, but was unable to meet him before Tata passed away. Chapke remains profoundly grateful, acknowledging Tata's role in fulfilling his extraordinary journey.
