BJP president JP Nadda, also the Union health minister, affirmed his party's dedication to combating injustices in West Bengal during his visit to a Durga Puja pandal amid ongoing protests in Kolkata. His visit aimed to bolster the spirits of BJP supporters through cultural and social engagements.
Throughout his day-long trip, Nadda was joined by state BJP president Sukanta Majumdar and Suvendu Adhikari, leader of the opposition in the West Bengal assembly. Together, they visited several key locations, including the Ramakrishna Mission's headquarters and the Santosh Mitra Square Puja Committee pandal, symbolising their party's commitment to addressing grievances.
Latterly, Nadda participated in a gathering of notable personalities to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for recognizing Bengali as a classical language, further highlighting the BJP's focus on cultural preservation and social justice in the region.
