India is in mourning as Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to attend the state funeral of esteemed industrialist Ratan Tata in Mumbai. The Government of India will pay its final respects, acknowledging Tata's immense contributions to the nation's development.

The state funeral will witness Tata's mortal remains placed at the National Centre for Performing Arts for the public to pay homage from 10 am to 4 pm.

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending summits abroad, Shah conveyed his deep sorrow, recognizing Tata as a 'legendary industrialist and true nationalist' whose life work continues to inspire the pursuit of national betterment.
