In a stern warning against misleading practices, President Droupadi Murmu called for strict action against those exploiting the public's trust in Ayurveda. She highlighted the need to safeguard the traditional system by ensuring accuracy and credibility in its claims.

Speaking at the eighth foundation day of the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), President Murmu emphasized the importance of investing in research and improving the quality of Ayurvedic medicines. Empowering educational institutions dedicated to Ayurveda study is essential to maintaining its relevance, she stated.

Murmu pointed out the increasing global interest in Ayurveda and Yoga, urging for products to meet international standards. She launched the Ayush Aushadhi Pharmacy Programme and Shashwat Ayush Expo, supporting her vision of evidence-based Ayurvedic science gaining worldwide recognition.
