PETA India has issued an urgent plea to Bollywood icon Salman Khan, advocating for the removal of a donkey from the 'Bigg Boss 18' reality show set. The appeal comes in response to overwhelming public concern regarding the animal's well-being.
According to PETA, the donkey, named Gadhraj, is being kept in stressful conditions unsuitable for prey animals. The organization argues that traditional show environments, with their glaring lights and incessant noise, are highly distressing for animals not accustomed to such settings.
PETA has requested that the animal be surrendered for rehoming at a sanctuary, where it can live in a more natural and compassionate environment. The organization believes this action would set a significant precedent in the entertainment industry.
