In an unprecedented move, tourism operators in Goa have commenced the erection of beach shacks ahead of the traditional December rush, aiming to captivate early arrivals.
The arrival of two chartered Russian flights on October 2 at Manohar International Airport marks a promising beginning to the tourist season, often characterized by such arrivals.
With 80% of the 350 beach shacks already standing, Cruz Cardoso of the Shack Owners' Welfare Society optimistically foresees the remaining prepped by mid-October, while visitors from various regions express delight at the preemptive setups along Goa's pristine coastlines.
