Governor Singh Champions Veteran Welfare Initiatives

Uttarakhand Governor, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (retd), engaged with ex-servicemen at the Chandimandir military station, focusing on welfare-related issues, an official statement confirmed on Thursday.
During the meeting, Governor Singh assured prompt attention to their concerns and promised to relay their suggestions to the appropriate authorities.
He discussed key welfare issues including ECHS and CSD facilities and appreciated the Agnipath recruitment scheme for its contribution to nation-building. Singh also visited an army museum and paid tributes at Veer Smriti Sthal.
