BookMyShow Fights Coldplay Ticket Black Market

BookMyShow has lodged an FIR regarding the black market resale of Coldplay concert tickets for the band's 2025 India tour. The company is assessing the cancellation of unethically sold tickets and is working with Mumbai Police to tackle this scalping issue.

Online ticket aggregator BookMyShow has filed an FIR to combat black market sales of tickets for Coldplay's upcoming concerts in India. The action targets those selling tickets for the band's 2025 World Tour at inflated prices.

BookMyShow initiated this legal step following a proactive complaint to Mumbai Police on September 23, 2024. The move comes amid widespread fan complaints and a scarcity of tickets for the highly-anticipated Mumbai event.

Despite the issues, BookMyShow confirms Coldplay's concerts will proceed as planned in January 2025. They have identified and reported all known resellers to authorities, pledging continued vigilance against illegal ticket restructuring.
