In the heart of the national capital, the 'Beyond Boundaries: A Global Art Experience' exhibition at The Stainless gallery pushes the limits of traditional art. Prominent visual artist Promila Bahri is among the featured artists, her project 'Laxmi Tent' weaving art with poignant social commentary.

The exhibition, curated by Anoop Kamath and organized by Matters of Art (MoA), showcases the work of global artists. Through their creations, these artists collectively question cultural and social barriers. Bahri, with her evocative photography, delves into themes of gender and identity, shedding light on the transgender community's cultural narrative.

Inspired by the Kinnar Akhara's participation at the 2019 Prayagraj Ardh Kumbh Mela, Bahri's work documents a historic integration of the transgender community within sacred traditions. 'Laxmi Tent' not only portrays their spiritual journey but also calls for an embrace of inclusion, celebrating humanity's diverse spectrum.
