Now in its 68th year, the production traces the legendary journey of Lord Ram, from his birth to his crowning, continuing to capture the hearts and minds of audiences of all ages. Created by SBKK founder Sumitra Charat Ram in 1957, the theatrical piece was penned by celebrated Hindi poet Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar', with choreography by renowned artists Guru Gopinath and Narendra Sharma, set to the music of the senior Dagar Brothers.
Under the direction of SBKK chairperson Shobha Deepak Singh, 'Shri Ram' evolves each year with newly recorded music, interactive elements, and voice-overs from acclaimed actors such as Manohar Singh.
