The family of lorry driver Arjun, who tragically perished in the Shirur landslide in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, has accused the vehicle owner, Manaf, of exploiting their grief for personal gain. They allege Manaf has been collecting funds under false pretenses.
During a press conference at their residence, Arjun's family stated that Manaf was initially supportive but is now using their emotional pain to seek monetary contributions from various sources. According to them, Manaf has been wrongfully portraying them as destitute despite several family members being employed.
Arjun's widow and other family members have tried to contact Manaf to ask him to stop spreading false information on his Youtube channel, but he has not responded. They have warned of potential legal action if he does not cease his activities. Manaf has responded, saying he is willing to face severe consequences if proven guilty of the accusations.
