Wangchuk, alongside 150 other protesters from Ladakh, continued their indefinite fast on Gandhi Jayanti despite being under detention. They claim their rights are being trampled upon in a place that symbolizes peace and democracy.
The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister noted that ignoring voices raised on this pressing matter was akin to overlooking a significant strategic and economic-social issue.
