Film director David Dhawan visited a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday to check on actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda, who sustained a leg injury when his revolver accidentally discharged at home. Govinda was admitted to CritCare Hospital and underwent emergency surgery.

Prominent figures, including Jackky Bhagnani, Sudesh Lehri, and Trinamool Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha, also visited the actor. After his visit, Shatrughan Sinha spoke to the media, confirming that Govinda's condition was stable and that he had received appropriate treatment.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also reached out to Govinda via phone call to inquire about his health and wished him a speedy recovery. The Chief Minister's Office assured that Govinda would receive the best possible care during his recovery.

Govinda, who reassured fans about his health through an audio message, is known for his significant contributions to Bollywood. He began his acting career in the mid-1980s and gained fame for his versatile performances in action, drama, and comedy films. His notable works include hit films like 'Ilzaam,' 'Marte Dam Tak,' 'Khudgarz,' 'Dariya Dil,' 'Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni,' 'Swarg,' and 'Hum.'
