Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday called on students to always strive for continuous improvement, emphasizing that setbacks in academic performance are not indicative of future failures.

Addressing the convocation ceremony of Siddharth University in Siddharthnagar district, Patel, also the chancellor of state universities, motivated students who missed out on medals and encouraged them to keep pushing forward. She highlighted the significant achievements of female students who secured degrees and medals, underlining their commendable progress.

Patel also praised the preservation efforts of ancient manuscripts in the Acharya Karunesh Shukla Library, stressing the importance of safeguarding India's rich knowledge tradition. During the ceremony, the governor awarded 45 gold medals and conferred degrees on 30 PhD recipients.
