Chhattisgarh To Celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda with Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced grand celebrations for the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on November 15, coinciding with Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has revealed plans to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on November 15 in conjunction with 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'.

Speaking at a workshop on the history of tribal communities in Raipur, Sai emphasized the significant contributions of tribal freedom fighters and their cultural practices of environmental and gender equality.

The Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan, aimed to uplift tribal communities, will also be launched by PM Modi, directly benefiting over 5 crore people in 63,000 villages.
