Deol, currently enjoying a career high from his role in 'Animal', will join the project directed by H Vinoth and bankrolled by Venkat K Narayana. Featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film is slated for an October 2025 release. Vijay, who launched his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, plans to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly polls, making 'Thalapathy 69' his last film before a full-time political career.
