Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Casio Computer Japan, has announced the launch of its 'Sports for Change' CSR program in collaboration with the Sportz Village Foundation. This initiative targets 20 government schools in Noida, U.P. State Board, to promote sports and provide training to underprivileged children.

The program will be carried out in two phases: Baseline Assessment and Sports Excellence Program. The first phase focuses on the well-being and sports mapping of children, while the second phase offers targeted training at four designated 'Sports Development Centres'. The launch event was held at Rajkiya Inter College in Noida, marking a significant step in Casio's commitment to social betterment.

Mr. Akira Watanabe, Director of Casio India, spoke about the importance of empowering young minds through sports. Additionally, the program seeks to develop adequate sports infrastructure, ensuring all children, regardless of background or gender, have the opportunity to excel and benefit from the initiative.
