Govinda Injured by Accidental Gunshot, Kashmera Shah Visits Hospital
Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda accidentally injured his leg when his revolver discharged at home. Kashmera Shah visited him at CritCare Hospital in Mumbai. The actor, receiving treatment, assured fans via audio message that he is stable and thanked them for their prayers.

Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda sustained a leg injury when his licensed revolver accidentally discharged at his home. The incident took place early Tuesday morning around 4:45 am as he was preparing to leave for Kolkata. Govinda was immediately rushed to CritCare Hospital in Mumbai as a precautionary measure.
Kashmera Shah, wife of comedian Krushna Abhishek, who is also Govinda's nephew, was seen arriving at the hospital to visit the actor. When approached by paparazzi, she only responded with, 'Kuch nahi (Nothing).' In an update provided by Shiv Sena member Krishna Hegde, Govinda assured his fans through an audio message that the bullet had been successfully removed and he is in stable condition, thanking the doctors and well-wishers.
Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed to ANI that the incident occurred as Govinda was putting his revolver back in the cupboard, and it accidentally discharged, striking him in the leg. Mumbai Police have also confirmed that while the injury is not serious, Govinda remains hospitalized as a precaution.
Govinda is renowned for his contributions to Bollywood, having made his debut in the late 1980s. He has starred in numerous hits like 'Ilzaam,' 'Marte Dam Tak,' and 'Hum,' earning fame for his versatile acting, comic prowess, and dynamic dance moves.
