Known for successful projects like 'Udaan' and 'Sacred Games', Motwane was inspired to use the 'Screenlife' format, where stories unfold via multiple digital screens.

Co-written with Avinash Sampath in 2020, 'CTRL' features the tumultuous relationship of influencer couple Nella (Ananya Panday) and Joe (Vihaan Samat). After Joe's infidelity, Nella resorts to an AI app to delete him from her life, but the app soon spirals out of control.

'CTRL' is set against the backdrop of our modern reliance on screens, making it a relatable tale for many. Scheduled for release on Netflix, the film tackles ever-relevant themes of technology's consuming presence in our lives.
