Two Trinamool Congress student wing functionaries, suspended after publicizing a short film based on a contentious hospital incident, have announced a delay in the movie's release. The film's postponement comes amid a highly sensitive and ongoing legal case.

Party sources revealed that the suspension of Prantik Chakraborty and Rajanya Haldar on September 27 followed Haldar's online promotion of the film 'Agomoni, Tilottomader Golpo', centered around a rape and murder at RG Kar hospital. The case triggered widespread protests, with the media referring to the deceased doctor as 'Tilottama' to protect her identity.

A day before the announcement, Haldar and Chakraborty had met senior Trinamool leader Kunal Ghosh, who stated that disciplinary actions were necessary given the current public sentiment. TMCP state president Trinankur Bhattacharya is set to forward their decision to the party's disciplinary committee for further consideration.
