Maharashtra’s Boost to Anganwadi Workers: Honorarium Hike Announced by Ajit Pawar
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced a hike in the monthly honorarium for Anganwadi workers from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 ahead of the assembly polls. During his 'Jan Sanman Yatra' in Udgir, Pawar also highlighted development initiatives, minority representation, and appealed for support in the upcoming elections.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Monday announced a significant increase in the monthly honorarium for Anganwadi workers from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. The move comes just ahead of the assembly polls.
Pawar, who also manages the finance portfolio, made this announcement at his 'Jan Sanman Yatra' in Udgir, Latur district. Anganwadi workers had long demanded this hike, which the government has now fulfilled.
These Anganwadi centers are crucial for providing basic healthcare in rural areas under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) program. Pawar also emphasized equitable political representation for minorities and lauded local development efforts.
