Shinde invoked the teachings of revered saint Dnyaneshwar and highlighted spiritual leaders' significance during Diwali and Dussehra. Chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' echoed as Shinde compared the gathering to Ayodhya.

He criticized the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government for their silence during the 2020 Palghar lynching, pledging that his administration would never abandon Hindutva principles.
