Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday instructed officials to begin the issuance process for 'family digital cards' in 119 Assembly constituencies. The initiative will start with one urban and one rural area in each constituency to ensure an effective pilot project.
During a high-level meeting at the state secretariat, officials updated the Chief Minister on the project's progress, noting that villages and wards have been selected for field inspections from October 3 to 7. Reddy emphasized that family photos should be optional and contingent upon family consent.
Additionally, Reddy announced plans for integrated residential schools in 100 constituencies to provide quality education for poor students. Set to be developed on 20-25 acres at a cost of Rs 100 crore each, these schools will match corporate standards. Appointment letters for new hires in the education sector will be distributed on October 9.
