On August 30, 2024, Shenzhen's original dance drama 'Wing Chun' premiered at London's prestigious Sadler's Wells Theatre, selling out rapidly and earning high praise from audiences. Over nine days, 12 performances maintained an occupancy rate exceeding 80%, setting a record for Chinese dance dramas in London. 'Wing Chun' blends dance and visual art to highlight the allure of Wing Chun kung fu and Gambiered Guangdong gauze, both recognized as intangible cultural heritage.

In March 2024, the Guangdong Cantonese Opera House hosted the Featured Guangdong—Cantonese Opera event, drawing around 60 officials from various consulates. Attendees marveled at the beauty of Cantonese opera. Subsequently, the 'Explore Panyu' event in April allowed 30 countries' consular officials to tour Shawan, enjoying local music and customs. The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair in May attracted global participation, showcasing cultural heritage, e-sports, films, and music.

Guangdong's dedication to traditional and modern cultural expressions includes Cantonese, Teochew, and Hakka cuisines, ceramics, kung fu, and dragon boat racing. A restaging of the opera 'Marco Polo' and the Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament in 2024 enhanced global appreciation of Lingnan culture. The 'Lingnan Water Town International Cartoon & Animation Week' in August further demonstrated Guangdong's vibrant contemporary art scene. These events underscore the region's role in integrating and promoting Chinese and international cultures.
