Tamil Nadu Delegation Visits Kerala for Norka Roots Study

A four-member delegation from Tamil Nadu visited Kerala to study the Norka Roots programmes and services. Led by B Krishnamoorthy, the team engaged with K Vasuki and Ajith Kolassery to explore cooperation in expatriate welfare. Agreements to collaborate were made during the discussions.

A delegation from neighbouring Tamil Nadu visited Kerala on Monday to study the programmes and services under Norka Roots, a public sector undertaking under the Department of Non-Resident Keralite's Affairs.

Led by B Krishnamoorthy, Commissionerate of Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non Resident Tamils, the four-member team visited the Norka Centre to learn about the state agency's practices and to explore possibilities of cooperation.

The Tamil Nadu delegation engaged in discussions with K Vasuki, Secretary of the Department of Non-Resident Keralite's Affairs, and Ajith Kolassery, Chief Executive Officer of Norka Roots. Officials outlined various agency activities and services provided, with an agreement to collaborate on welfare programmes for expatriates.
