Bollywood actor Ananya Panday, known for her upcoming film 'CTRL' that delves into the realm of artificial intelligence, has called for government regulations to curb the misuse of AI technology.
Her remarks come in the wake of several high-profile stars like Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt falling prey to deepfake videos.
'CTRL,' produced by Saffron and Andolan Films, features Panday's character using an AI app to erase a lover after discovering his infidelity. The film, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, starts streaming on Netflix from October 4. Panday expressed her concerns and excitement during her performance at the IIFA Awards 2024.
