After 24 years, the National Cricket Academy (NCA) has finally found a facility befitting its stature and growth, emerging as the BCCI Centre of Excellence. The new hub, inaugurated by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, features ultra-modern amenities, including three distinct pitch types designed to prepare players for various conditions at home and abroad.

The main ground, Ground A, features an 85-yard boundary with 13 Mumbai red-soil pitches, mirroring those used in India's recent victorious Test against Bangladesh in Chennai. Notably, the Herringbone drainage system ensures quick water evaporation, minimizing game disruptions due to rain.

Additionally, Ground B and C are dedicated practice grounds with varied soil types. The 40-acre facility includes 45 outdoor net pitches, fielding areas, and top-notch indoor practice labs. The Sports Science & Medicine Block offers world-class rehabilitation and training equipment. The facility will also be available for India's Olympic athletes.
