In a recent address, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the critical importance of integrating education and spirituality in today's world, arguing that true freedom from anarchy can only be achieved through such measures. He advocated for the revival of traditional Arya Samaj practices like 'yagya' and 'havan' within gurukuls to maintain a disciplined and spiritual atmosphere, which, he claimed, contributes to better academic performance.

CM Adityanath inaugurated a new auditorium, five classrooms, and an administrative building at Mewalal Gupta Gurukul Vidyalaya, underscoring the timely completion of construction work funded by the Gorakhpur Development Authority with a CSR contribution of Rs 1 crore. He commended the Gorakhpur Gurukul Society for revitalizing educational institutions and emphasized the incorporation of skill development and entrepreneurship training to ensure comprehensive student development.

Adityanath's remarks also touched on the state government's commitment to providing quality education and improving health facilities. He pointed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's National Education Policy (NEP) as a framework for the holistic development of students, aligned with contemporary needs. He also mentioned the provision of free healthcare services to 10 crore people under the Ayushman Card Scheme. The event included a cultural program and a sapling plantation on the school premises.
