M V Shreyams Kumar Elected President of Indian Newspaper Society
M V Shreyams Kumar of Mathrubhumi has been elected as the president of the Indian Newspaper Society, succeeding Rakesh Sharma of Aaj Samaj. Vivek Gupta, Karan Rajendra Darda, and Tanmay Maheshwari were also elected to key positions. The 85th Annual General Meeting was conducted via video conferencing.

M V Shreyams Kumar of Mathrubhumi was elected president of the Indian Newspaper Society, an apex body representing publishers of newspapers, magazines, and periodicals, on Friday.
Kumar succeeds Rakesh Sharma of Aaj Samaj. Vivek Gupta of Sanmarg was named deputy president, Karan Rajendra Darda of Lokmat vice president, and Tanmay Maheshwari of Amar Ujala honorary treasurer.
The society's 85th Annual General Meeting was conducted via video conferencing. The 41-member Executive Committee includes notable figures like S Balasubramanian Adityan, Samahit Bal, K N Tilak Kumar, Viveck Goenka, Mahendra Mohan Gupta, Kundan Vyas, Atideb Sarkar, K R P Reddy, and Pratap G Pawar.
