Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Attends 21st Annual CPA Conference in Mizoram

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has arrived in Mizoram to participate in the 21st annual conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, India Region Zone-3. The two-day event, starting on September 27, will feature several notable speakers including Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Nayaran Singh and Nagaland Assembly Speaker Sharingain Longkumer.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla arrived in Mizoram on Thursday to attend the 21st annual conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), India Region Zone-3, officials confirmed.

Birla landed at Lengpui's airport near Aizawl and was welcomed by Mizoram Assembly Speaker Lalbiakzama along with other officials.

This significant two-day CPA meeting is scheduled to be held in the Assembly hall on September 27 and 28, featuring participants like Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Nayaran Singh and Nagaland Assembly Speaker Sharingain Longkumer, who also chairs the CPA India Zone-3.
