Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' to Stream on Disney+ Hotstar from October 11

Akshay Kumar's film 'Sarfira', a Hindi adaptation of Tamil movie 'Soorarai Pottru', will be available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 11. Directed by Sudha Kongara, this inspiring movie showcases Kumar as Vir Mahtre, who aims to make flying affordable for common people. The film was released in theatres in July.

Superstar Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' is set to debut on Disney+ Hotstar starting October 11, the streaming platform announced on Thursday.

This film is a Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed Tamil movie 'Soorarai Pottru', helmed by director Sudha Kongara and featuring Suriya in the lead role.

Kongara also directed 'Sarfira', which hit theatres in July. The film stars Paresh Rawal and Radhika Madan in significant roles.

"'Sarfira' revolves around a spirited individual who dared to dream big and pursued it with relentless effort. I believe that once a dream turns into ambition, it inevitably comes true, and that's the essence of Vir's journey," Kumar said in a statement.

In the movie, Kumar portrays Vir Mahtre, who devises a business plan to make air travel affordable for ordinary people.

The production of 'Sarfira' is managed by Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, and 2D Entertainment.
