Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya condemned the act, calling it 'indecent' for a city with cultural significance like Indore. The Bajrang Dal and other organizations have demanded police action against her, with written complaints filed at local police stations.
Following the backlash, the woman apologized on Instagram, expressing regret and suicidal thoughts. Meanwhile, a group of women protested outside the police commissioner's office, demanding appropriate action. The police have stated that they will consult legal experts before proceeding.
