Christian Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled a playful, sport-themed fashion collection for the label's spring-summer 2025 ready-to-wear lineup on Tuesday, captivating a front row filled with celebrities and France's first lady Brigitte Macron.
Models strutted down a long, straight runway, showcasing jersey dresses, asymmetric bodysuits, and black trousers with white racing stripes along the legs. Completing the athletic-inspired looks were tall gladiator shoes, including sneakers, laced up to the top, while large pouches worn across the back served as statement accessories. Artist SAGG Napoli kicked off the event by entering a narrow corridor in the center of the catwalk, carrying an archery set. She proceeded to stretch her arms and neck, stroke her long braid, then grab an arrow from her belt and fire it.
The venue, set up in the Rodin Museum garden, was adorned with quotes such as, 'May the building of a strong mind and a strong body be the greatest work I have ever made.' Paris Fashion Week, which includes major labels like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Kering-owned Saint Laurent, began earlier this month following shows in New York, London, and Milan. The fashion event wraps up on October 1.
