Veteran actor Zeenat Aman has shared a fascinating anecdote from the shooting of the classic song 'Dum Maro Dum' in the 1971 film 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna.' To bring authenticity to her role, Aman revealed that she smoked with real-life hippies in Nepal and got 'high as a kite.'

Directed by Dev Anand, the film saw Aman portraying Jasbir 'Janice' Jaiswal, a character who drifts away from her family to spend time with hippies. For the scene, Dev Anand rounded up real hippies to ensure an authentic portrayal of a drug-addled Janice.

Aman, now 72, shared the story on Instagram, describing how she needed help to return to her hotel after the experience. Instead, her team took her on a drive through the mountains to clear her head. She also mentioned that her mother was furious upon learning of the incident.
