Gandhi, addressing rallies in Surankote and Srinagar, directly criticized the BJP and RSS for sowing division based on caste, creed, and religion.
He characterized the BJP-led administration as one that "takes away" the people's rights and vowed that Congress would ensure J&K is governed by locals and not from Delhi. Gandhi emphasized that his party seeks to replace hatred with love, recounting various initiatives aimed at promoting unity.
The Congress leader also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating his confidence has diminished due to the opposition's pressure. He promised the electorate that he would be their voice in Parliament and criticized the BJP for ignoring the common people while favoring a few business elites.
