Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan found himself in a difficult situation Monday as his car got stuck in a pothole amid torrential rain in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, according to police.
The incident took place while Chouhan was returning to the helipad following his speech at the BJP's 'Parivartan' rally in Baharagora, police officials reported.
With the car trapped in a waterlogged road, Chouhan stepped out under an umbrella and interacted with local residents. He was eventually able to reach the helipad safely and flew back to Ranchi by helicopter, confirmed Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ajit Kumar Kujur.
