In a landmark development aimed at bridging the gap between industry and academia, SGT University's Faculty of Engineering and Technology has collaborated with Forvia Hella, an industry leader in automotive technology. This significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on September 5, 2024.

Forvia Hella, globally recognized as the seventh-largest supplier in automotive technology, is set to establish a cutting-edge automotive lab at SGT University. This ambitious project, funded as part of Forvia Hella's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aspires to uplift research capacities and foster an innovation-driven ethos among students and faculty members.

Prof. (Dr.) Joginder Yadav, Registrar of SGT University, articulated his elation about the collaboration, underscoring the new avenues for research and growth it opens for students. Dr. Naveen Gautam, Managing Director of Forvia Hella, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the fusion of academic excellence with industrial innovation.
