BJP Leader Subramanian Swamy Calls for Supreme Court Probe into Tirupati Laddus Controversy

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has approached the Supreme Court seeking a court-monitored investigation into the alleged use of animal fat in the making of Tirupati laddus. Swamy urges the Andhra Pradesh government to provide a detailed report and requests an interim forensic report. A separate petition has been filed by Y V Subba Reddy seeking a probe under a retired judge. The controversy ignited by CM N Chandrababu Naidu’s claims has led to political upheaval and accusations.
