Food Wars Season 4 Update: Erina, Soma to make main dish, appetizer

The second half of Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma was aired between April 9 and June 25, 2018. ‘Food Wars’ Season 4 is likely to be released anytime in 2019 and rumors surrounding it suggest that the anime will depart from focusing its attention to Soma and Erina since the previous instalment developed them by quite a mile.

Sources including EconoTimes said that ‘Food Wars’ Season 4 is focusing to change its attention to secondary characters for giving a try to broaden the audiences’ interests. When the similar strategy of expanding the side characters’ tales was applied for other anime series like ‘My Hero Academia’ and ‘Hunter X Hunter’ those simply witnessed wonderful success.

Apart from expanding the stories of side characters, plenty of questions surrounding ‘Food Wars’ Season 4 have popped up such as – Is the show going to skip a few vital backstory details that were present in the manga once again? Another important question the anime aficionados are wondering whether or not there shall be adequate source material for the animators to work with. Apart from these, the question surrounding the premiere date of the Japanese shōnen manga series is obviously the premiere date.
