Modi credited the challenging election process for his renewed mandate and emphasized his commitment to good governance and economic growth. 'This year, something unprecedented happened in India,' he said, referring to his electoral victory. Modi described Indian Americans as the country's brand ambassadors, recognizing their role in strengthening US-India relations.
The occasion also celebrated India's cultural diversity with performances by 382 artists in 'Echoes of India - A Journey Through Art and Tradition.' The prime minister praised the Indian diaspora for contributing to societal and national development globally.
