Spiritual Tourism Soars: Yoga Retreat in Pokhara
The Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) is organizing a yoga retreat in Pokhara to promote spiritual tourism. More than 100 yoga enthusiasts will participate, learning theoretical and practical aspects of yoga. The event aims to position Nepal as a premier destination for yoga and spiritual tourism.

The Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) is set to host a yoga retreat in Pokhara, an initiative aimed at promoting spiritual tourism. Renowned yoga enthusiasts from around the globe will train participants in both theoretical and practical aspects of ancient yoga wisdom.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Purna Yoga Centre, will take place from October 16 to 19, attracting more than 100 yoga enthusiasts. Participants will enjoy vegetarian and organic foods, along with devotional songs and relaxing music.
According to HAN President Binayak Shah, this annual event seeks to establish Nepal as a top destination for yoga and spiritual tourism. 'Yoga not only improves our physical and mental health but also enhances spiritual well-being and brings peace,' said Lata Tulachan, a US-based Nepali yoga instructor.
