Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has called on people to visit Wayanad to revive tourism and support local livelihoods affected by recent landslides.

He highlighted that while the landslide only impacted the Mundakkai area, it led to a misconception that all of Wayanad was dangerous, causing a decline in tourists.

Despite the tragedy, Gandhi assures that Wayanad remains vibrant and hospitable, urging tourists to help rejuvenate the local economy.
