Rizwan Kadri, a member of the Prime Ministers' Museum and Library (PMML) Society, urged Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Sunday to grant access to private papers of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in her possession.

Kadri, a historian from Ahmedabad, has been vocal in PMML Society meetings, advocating for the retrieval of these documents. He emphasized the importance of these papers for unbiased historical research in a letter to Gandhi, dated September 9.

Kadri proposed either scanning the documents under his supervision or providing digital copies to the PMML, ensuring that the documents remain accessible for comprehensive national history studies.
