During Modi's three-day US visit, Biden hosted him at his personal home in Wilmington, Delaware. At a media briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri highlighted India's ongoing important conversations with multiple parties involved in the Ukraine conflict.
Biden expressed strong US support for India's role in global institutions, including a permanent seat in a reformed UN Security Council. Additionally, they discussed enhancing cooperation in areas like clean energy, defense, and semiconductors.
