Fans of the hit show 'Wednesday' received an exciting treat as Netflix revealed a behind-the-scenes preview of the much-anticipated second season. Jenna Ortega reprises her role as the enigmatic Wednesday Addams, with the upcoming season described as 'bigger and more twisted than you can ever imagine,' according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The exclusive sneak peek was unveiled during a fan event held in Atlanta on Thursday. It showcased Ortega alongside returning cast members Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Notably, Victor Dorobantu also returns as the beloved character Thing. The clip featured scenes of Ortega's Wednesday arriving at Nevermore Academy with her signature stern look, students gathering in a field, and Thing sneaking around. Renowned director Tim Burton was also spotted on set.

'If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed and I'm not that generous,' Ortega joked at the end of the video. Filming for the second season commenced in May in Ireland. The series, crafted by Al Gough and Miles Millar, has expanded its ensemble by adding stars such as Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.

Earlier this year, Ortega expressed her satisfaction with the scripts for season two, following criticism of her remarks about the writing in the first season. She teased that the new season will be 'a little more horror' and 'a lot more action,' noting that each episode feels 'like a movie,' although Wednesday's character remains unchanged. Netflix has yet to confirm the release date for season two. (ANI)
