Addressing the audience, Irani recounted the film's origin, credited to his friend Sujoy Ghosh, who approached him with the idea while he was unwell. 'This film began many years ago with just a one-liner from Sujoy, and I've always been grateful for his generosity,' Irani shared. Over the years, he developed the script, often testing scenes on his wife, Zenobia, during late-night writing sessions.
Irani expressed heartfelt gratitude to his family, fans, and team, emphasizing the theme of familial love. The cast, including Avinash Tiwary and Shreya Chaudhary, as well as co-writer Alex Dinelaris and producers Danesh Irani and Anikta Batra, were present to support the film, which is set to release on Amazon Prime Video.
