The team behind the 1999 musical hit 'Taal' reunited in Mumbai to commemorate the film's 25th anniversary with a special screening. The event was graced by notable figures such as music maestro AR Rahman, director Subhash Ghai, actors Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla, producer Ramesh Taurani, and choreographer Shamak Davar.

The film is renowned for its unforgettable soundtrack, featuring hits like 'Taal Se Taal Mila', 'Ishq Bina', 'Nahin Saamne', 'Ramta Jogi', and 'Ni Main Samajh Gayi'. Both Rahman and Ghai shared their nostalgic experiences of creating the music for this iconic film.

'It feels like yesterday... time is just frozen. The memories are still very fresh,' Rahman told ANI. Ghai added, 'When you have a composer like him, you have a god with you.'

Ghai reminisced about the challenges faced with limited resources. 'We worked on three films together. Rahman composed 'Ishq Bina' in 1995 with very ordinary machines,' he said. The film's enduring appeal is credited to its memorable soundtrack and talented cast.

The film will re-release in Indian theatres starting September 27. Originally released on August 13, 1999, 'Taal' starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshaye Khanna, and Anil Kapoor, with supporting performances from Amrish Puri, Alok Nath, Mita Vashisth, and Saurabh Shukla.
