Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the United States on Saturday for a significant three-day visit aimed at bolstering the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. During his visit, Modi will participate in the Quad summit, address a key United Nations conclave, and hold various bilateral and multilateral meetings.
On the first day, Modi is scheduled to meet US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for one-on-one discussions. 'I am confident that today's discussions will contribute to global betterment and address key challenges,' Modi posted on X after arriving in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Indian diaspora welcomed Modi with enthusiasm at the Philadelphia International Airport. 'An energetic welcome in Philadelphia! Our diaspora's blessings are greatly cherished,' Modi shared on X. The visit also includes engagements with top tech CEOs and a highly-anticipated Indian community event in Long Island.
