Filmmaker Karan Johar is set to direct a grand web series for OTT, following his blockbuster hit 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.' The script is finalized, with production starting in 2025, though an official announcement is pending.

Filmmaker Karan Johar has been exploring different mediums to bring cinematic magic to audiences. Now, he is set to surprise fans with an ambitious big-budget web series on OTT. According to a source close to the 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' director, the script is finalized and production will commence in early 2025.

However, an official announcement regarding the project is still awaited. Johar's recent directorial project, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' was a major hit in 2023, featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra.

This move comes on the heels of ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's successful OTT debut with 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,' which premiered on Netflix and received rave reviews globally.
